Why we ride
Because some children spend their summer in hospital
Cancer and critical lung disease turn a child's life, and a whole family's, upside down. The money we raise goes to two foundations that fund research towards better treatment, and help families through the hardest time of their lives.

Children with critical illness are close to my heart. I know some of the struggles when a child has a fatal condition, or is so fragile that ordinary life becomes a risk. And I know the hope: that one day, they could just be like everybody else.
Team Rynkeby is my way of doing something about it. I raise money for a cause that matters, and I get the challenge of a lifetime: riding from Copenhagen to Paris.
The team
What is Team Rynkeby?
Team Rynkeby is a charity cycling team of amateur riders. From February we train together every week around Østsjælland, and every weekend you'll find us on the roads of Sjælland. Then, in July, we ride to Paris.
It's 3.000+ ordinary people from 70+ teams, all riding for the same finish, and all paying their own way to the start line. In Denmark, what the teams raise goes to Børnecancerfonden and Børnelungefonden.

As a private person
Make a donation
- Help a child and their family. Your donation funds research and real support for children with cancer and critical lung disease, through the Team Rynkeby Foundation.
- It doesn't pay for my trip. I cover all my own expenses: bike, kit, hotels and admin, like every rider.
- Give 100 kr. or more. It takes a minute with MobilePay, and it all adds up.
- Get a tax deduction. Add your CPR number when you donate (CVR for a company), and it's reported to SKAT for you, within the yearly limit.
- Keep me pedalling. Nothing gets me up the next hill like knowing you chipped in.
